TNBTC Meets With Lawmakers to Plan 2026 Bitcoin Initiatives
Greetings from TNBTC!
Two quick updates for you: This week, we held our first Node Caucus event at Capitol Hill in Nashville. And, you can now get your copy of our brand new bitcoin guide for free.
Node Caucus
Our first Node Caucus event took place this week on Capitol Hill in Nashville. These events are working forums for elected officials, policy makers, and business leaders who are shaping the future of bitcoin in Tennessee.

The experience was valuable – we were challenged to communicate crucial concepts about bitcoin and explain the role it will play to ensure our beautiful state stays prosperous and competitive in the years ahead. The audience had excellent questions covering energy, mining, and how crypto differs from bitcoin.
Look out for more news in January 2026 as the 115th General Assembly begins, when a bitcoin bill is expected to be introduced!
Free Bitcoin Guide
We released our illustrated starter guide, Bitcoin Foundations, just in time for Thanksgiving. Now, when Uncle Otis tells you bitcoin is a fad, you’ll have the facts about economics, monetary history, and cryptography to set him straight.
Bitcoin Foundations is sharable, easy to read, and free. It explains fiat money, our financial system, and bitcoin in terms virtually anyone can understand. Get your copy here (no registration required). Feel free to share it as much as you like.
